Washington DC Subleasing my apartment

Hello to all,

 

I would like to become a host, I have heard about subleasing apartments through Airbnb and I am very interested!

 

I would like to learn about specifics within Washington D.C. regarding subleasing apartments. I understand the requirement and looking for a landlord willing to allow me to do this, but confused if the C of O is needed or necessary if I am contracted through a landlord. 

 

I would like to get a hold of someone who has subleased and is doing AirBnB to mentor me if possible.
