Zoning ordinances anyone?

Has anyone experienced negative actions by their town or city governments, attempting to extremely limit or even shut down Airbnb (and any other short term rentals)?  I live in such a town, and was wondering if anyone out there might have had similar experiences, AND if they were able to resolve things favorably, and if so any advice they might have.

I am having the same issues. And have gotten nowhere. So frustrating!  I been running my airbnb since 2019 and now telling me its not allowed in my zone and can no longer do it!!! I already have Multiple reservations for 2024!!  I own two airbnb's!! I am not finding any help or direction on here. My township is a joke in offering any help to fix this problem. Hope you get your issues worked out!!

Has Airbnb offered support in any way? I would think they’d have an interest in doing so!
