booking fee

 hello out there still struggling to change the booking fee from me the host to the guest ,i rang Airbnb and the guy said because i advertise with booking .com as well that i can not pass the boking fee onto the guest is this c correct any advise. Thanks Debbie

@Debbie-And-Barry1  Airbnb recently changed channel managed cross-platform listings subject to the host-only fees. There is nothing you can do to change this to revert to guests paying the guest fee portion.

So what you need to do is up your price so you end up receiving the same amount of money for a booking as before.

Not all of us are proficient with internet tech, so if you aren't good with computer stuff, you need to find someone who is, a friend or relative, who can help you with the things you don't understand.

@Debbie-And-Barry1 Yes we are the same. I think potential guests are waiting to see where/if they can travel. If they are happy to stay in the UK then an early booking would make sense as there is a very low chance lockdown will last until Easter let alone to the summer.

As we are under lockdown it's not surprising that apart from in key tourist resorts people aren't booking yet for the summer @Debbie-And-Barry1 .
