Hi Airbnb Community,
I am Lory and I became an Airbnb host almost one year ago. It's my first time when I am connecting with the Airbnb community on this website. I have a few misunderstandings and maybe someone who's been through this can explain to me better how this works.
I am trying to do my taxes for last year and I found out from Airbnb support that I won't be receiving any 1099 form if I made less than 20k during 2021.
So in this case what's the document I need to print out that I can use for my tax return purposes? I have already printed the CSV document from Transaction History that will be opening in an excel doc showing my transactions. Is that what I need? it will be enough? or do I need more than that? because it doesn't look like a real document to me for my rental.
Thank you so much for a few pieces of advice!

@Lory140 I talked to my accountant about this just yesterday and he told me that the spreadsheet will be enough. The IRS doesn't want 1099s for fewer than 200 transactions in a year - they've applied this rule to PayPal, Venmo, and many others as well as Airbnb.

@Ann72 Thank you so much Ann for messaging me back, this was very helpful. I will move on and finish my taxes at this point. I hope your Airbnb goes well this year ! All the best ! Lory :):):)
@Lory140 can you share a link of sorts to where this statement of less than 200 transactions in a year doesn’t require a 1099 tax form per the IRS?
I’m in Australia and need tax print out for 2019 - 2020 and 2020 - 2021
Please help me find this on my iPhone
