Airbnb Collecting TOT tax yet in San Luis Obispo CA

I have just listed a property in San Luis Obispo and on the city website it states that they came to an agreement for TOT Tax collection by Airbnb in October of 2017 but I do not see the option of it on my listing nor do I see it is being collected on existing reservations. Any one from this area with a listing and more information?

I am very interested in what happened in this case? I am currently in a very bad situation in SLO county with Airbnb not collecting TOT as they had originally told me they would. It’s my  understanding that Airbnb only collect these taxes in unincorporated areas of San Luis Obispo County. I am located in an unincorporated area but Airbnb’s still failed to collect these taxes for me. I have been told by the county not to collect the taxes because it is Airbnb’s responsibility but Airbnb said no they never have and still refuse to collect them.  I am looking for other people who are in, or have been in, my situation or even a similar situation that are located in San Luis Obispo County. There are no replies on this thread so what did you do?
