Are there two different kinds of emails for each account?

I changed the email for my account months ago, as it was formerly a friend's account that I took over. However, yesterday I reached out to Airbnb to file a host guarantee claim and they sent the response to the email of my friend. It appears its still somehow attached to the account I don't want to bother my friend with this or to have to ask her to forward me all the emails from this correspondence. As far as i know, I've successfully changed the account/login email, disconnected from Facebook - but I cant find where I can change the settings for contact details for Airbnb support, so that Airbnb contacts me instead of my friend. Any advice? Is there another 'hidden' host contact email Airbnb has the details for that I'm not aware of? Thanks in advance.
