Cleaning Fee Percentage, Flat Rate

We are new to Airbnb. We have two neighbors who we would like to have do our cleaning for us when we are out of state.

We want to make sure we are being fare in what we are paying, we were thinking about paying on possibly a percentage rate based of the earnings each time or a flat rate per cleaning based on the size of the property? Wondering what others are doing to keep this expense down but be fair. We are in Washington USA.

@Michelle826 if your neighbors are doing the cleaning, then allow them to keep the cleaning fee.

(Maybe give them a say in how much the cleaning fee is...)

If you asking them to do more than clean, then perhaps make them co-hosts.
