Do I have to pay for a listing before it's active?

I'd like to secure my listing URL so I can make promotional stickers and put the link on them. My place is not ready to be listed yet though but I want to ensure I can get stickers made in time before I go live. So, my question is, can I get my listing made with it's URL but not go live yet? If so, do I have to pay before it's active?

@Laura4621 you don't pay anything on Airbnb until you have a booking and not even then until some time after the guest checks in and you get paid

@Laura4621 I would suggest that you read all the help articles for hosts on the Airbnb site before you go live so you understand how everything works and make sure all your booking settings are as you want them. Not knowing how Airbnb charges hosts is a really basic question, that is clear in those articles.
