End of year taxes

Hello,   I am doing my own accounting for 2019 taxes.  I have a few questions on how to file.  Our cottage is open for rent from May to October, as we have to shut it down due to heavy winter conditions here.  When is comes to deductions and what i can claim i am lost.  What percentage of deductions can i claim in this time period?  We only used 3 days of personal use and 55 days rented this year.  Any help here would be appreciated.

Thank You

Melissa

While no one on this CC should be giving you tax preparation information, I can point you to a great article on the Help Center that was prepared by a national accounting firm that I found very helpful.  Here is a link to the Ernst and Yound article.

I am a  new host. Does Airbnb send a year end report of the taxes they charged a guest or the amount they paid to you as a host?
