Fake E mail from airbnb asking for account details

Has anyone received an E mail purported to be from " no reply airbnb" asking to log on and confirm bank details in order to keep receiving payments. It warns that bank detials must be given or payments could cease? Worrying and suspect its a scam?

Thoughts?

Hello @Angela996,

It is a scam. Airbnb will never ask for those details as they already have them.

Anyone can set up an email account and put whatever they want in the field that will show as "From".

The list in the article below includes some of the valid Airbnb addresses.

Good warning.

I saved Steve's link to my Info Folder (for future reference).

I have also received this email. The same request shows up on my hosting dashboard - and I've made sure I've keyed in the whole address and not just used a link. Is it actually a fake?
