Google calendar sync not working correctly

I am having an issue with Airbnb cal sync with Google. With VRBO the actual reservation with the guest name will show in the calendar for the reserved days. With Airbnb, it is blocking the days before and after per my airbnb settings by the days of the actual reservation are showing as free

any ideas?

If I just block the days it seems to work fine
