I love this new feature for experiences airbnb has started. I am very interested in creating an experience in my area. I understand this is something new and they are just trying it out in high population areas. However where I am is a small place. There are many tourist that come here though. This idea of experiences is really great and I think it is right along the lines of what I already offer. I am working with John of God and I want to create a spiritual healing experience for people. It is what they come here for anyway so it is right up the alley of what people want. How can I speak with someone at Airbnb to allow me to offer an experience here? How long is it going to take for them to open the experiences up to everyone and not just certain places? [link removed]
It's great you're looking to host an experience! As it's not yet available in your area you can register your interest in setting one up there and Airbnb will let you know when it reaches your area. This page gives more information about Experiences and Trips, and if you scroll to the bottom you can register your interest (see below):
Just to let you know, I have removed the link in your post, as advertising goes against the Community Center Guidelines.
Hello DeCarlo, As people of faith, I do not see how we separate our obligations as Airbnb hosts and our obligation to offer food and shelter to the needy according to our Christan faith. However since you describe a community model which is not specifically part of Airbnb, it is probably not a good idea to try to mix these together. It's an interesting question. Blessings
I am looking for doing the same for a city near my area (Geneva, Switzerland), and what I notice when I go on the webpage (https://www.airbnb.fr/host/experiences) and proposes this city in the select interface, is that I can't hit the submit button.
Is there a trick on the web interface I am missing or is there currently a bug?
