How do I remove an old photo from appearing in link?

We renovated our AirBnB holiday rental and I changed most of the photos. However the old primary photo still appears when I send or post a link to our listing, even though it is no longer on the listing. Why is this and how can I get it to disappear, and our updated primary photo to appear instead?

@Debra28, it sometimes takes a while for changes to propagate to all parts of the AirBnB system.

How long ago did you make the change to your photos?

(You might have to wait a day, or at least 6 hours or so.)

Thank you, Matthew. I had removed the photo from AirBnB a few days ago. Turns out it was a Facebook caching issue and I had to debug the Facebook link before it would accept -- and present -- the new photo.

I bet you aren't the only one who has faced the problem.

Would you mind sharing with us here how you handled the Facebook link part of the issue so that others might learn to do this if they face the same problem?
