How to promote your listings

Hi All....

Any suggestions would be appreciated.... we new to airbnb, have rented out our space in Dec/Jan 2016 to a family which was wonderful, however, no more requests have come through for bookings.  Our home is in Cape Town, South Africa....a lovely green suburb called Bergvliet.

With the rand being so weak, we really thought more people would be visiting out beautiful country....

We are close to wine estates, beaches, shops, restuarants etc....

I have a facebook page and a web site however the vast majority of bookings come from the AirBnb Site. Frankly we are overwhelmed with the response so we are happy with Airbnb. Its all about how you stack up against the competition. Price, Offerings etc. Good luck

There are other sites beyond Airbnb. If you're not getting request list in other places.

I agree with David, have a look at your competition and perhaps make your listing look more attractive with regards to ammenities and price. Remember that you are in actual fact competing with other airbnb hosts so you have to do some research on what works well and what doesnt. Have you had any more enquiries since posting this message?
