Keyboard disappears in Android app

I have had this ongoing problem for the past year with my android app. I use the SwiftKey keyboard with the Airbnb app. Whenever I respond to a message, after I type a few sentences, the keyboard disappears. I will tap on the message continuously and the keyboard appears for a split second then disappears. It is so frustrating , I end up needing to wait to go to my PC to respond to guests.

This is the first post in google after searching. Using samsung a30 android 9 with latest update as of writing. Airbnb app keyboard does not pop up in the request money page
