Prospective guest said I didn't reply

Out of the blue "Tara" says I didn't reply to a requuest for my apartment for 9 - 15 March 2016 now wants a reply. Sounds a little suss. I have no record of the original inquiry, but now I have a request from a woman whose profile photo cuts off her face, the only verifications are her email addrees, phone and 845 fb friends. My gut reaction is to say no, but it would help if Airbnb could check whether there was a request that I missed. She says it was "a few weeks ago". If there is no request maybe "Tara" should be blocked. I might be paranoid about this but it sounds not quite right. Thanks Les Nixon

She might have sent the inquiry to another host thinking it was you.  I've never had an inquiry not show up.  Just answer her questions and move on from there.  Not much else you can do.
