Q: "Help! I can't find ____ on the Airbnb website!" A: "Click on stuff."

There are many hosts who have questions about how to find something on the Airbnb website.  It might be something about how to edit their listing, or how to get help, how to contact customer service.  Often times, the solution is right before their noses -- but hidden in a small icon.  I know that I have been there.  One common oversight is that small gearwheel above right of your calendar on your listing.  Many folks never knew that so much that was so important could be hidden in a small gearwheel.

So, while you can always post specific questions here about how to find some specific thing on your listing or the AIrbnb website, and you will find hosts who can help you, there are other things you can do, too, which actually may produce realizations that imprint on you more deeply than a specific answer to a specific question.  For instance, you can "click on stuff."  I don't mean to sound facetious.  But this is actually quite a far-reaching and practical answer, since it can both solve an immediate problem, as well as teach you skills that can help solve many more similar problems in the future.

Clicking on stuff means -- you start exploring the Airbnb website.  Explore it randomly, or explore it methodically.  Go to your listing, and "click on stuff" and see what happens, what you find hidden beneath various clicks.  Like that gearwheel.  Go to your dashboard, and click around.  Then go down to the list of Airbnb departments at the bottom of your dashboard, and continue clicking.  You will find a lot opens up.

So poke around -- and learn to explore -- and pretty soon you'll be the expert, answering the questions of the other hosts who had no idea what was hidden beneath a myriad of clicks.

Hi, I can't contact Airbnb in any way.  When I click contact all I get is the contact details of somewhere I stayed as a guest.  I need to conact them about a hosting issue and the change in the website.  It is not giving me a way of accepting a reservation.

I have gone round the site until I am dizzy!

I would guess that there have now been over 2 dozen questions on how to contact Airbnb, (in this community center) and thus, at least 2 dozen answers given on that question -- use the search function on this community forum to find that info, or other commonly asked questions.

Or just look at any one of any of your guest's reservations with you, and the contact phone for Airbnb is right there printed on the reservation form.
