Wishing to contact the host a few days before our arrival we had the unpleasant surprise of not having this apartment !!!

On the one hand neither airbnb nor the host informs us of this cancellation, (to our mail adressed to the host to obtain the reason: total silence> it is a shame!); we had to carry out important research quickly to find a solution of lodging and during Easter holidays we have galley.

I am so sorry this happened. How did you find out the booking was cancelled?

It might have been a host who was illegally letting out accommodation in New York who had to stop because they were caught by their city government?

I am a little confused as to why you are posting about something that happened last Easter though and it is now the end of August?
