What can I do if my host refused cancellation request due to Covid-19 even though we agreed via messages?

Hello,

 

As everyone else here I can't leave my country/house. So last week I asked for a refund due to Covid-19, which she agreed on via the messages.

The period I was going to travel was just after the initial period March 14 till April 16 (I was going to stay from April 18-20).

 

But I got a mail my host refused the cancellation, what can I do now? I cannot send a new request because the website says I already did so.

I contacted my host again and she says she doesn't really know how it works. But she does understand my situation but that my payment went to AirBnB and that they have to pay me back or something.

 

Is there anything I can do?
