Where do I find how much my guest has paid AirBnb in total?

I want to know the total amount that my guests are paying AirBnb, including the AirBnb commission. (Not just the Service Fee that AirBnb charges me.) This information is given by other booking sites in their payout details, but AirBnb don't provide this and I haven't managed to find where it is. I want to find the actual total paid per guest - not just a vague indication of a percentage. Can anyone tell me?

Hello @Suzanna9,

There isn't a direct way to see how much a guest has paid for a confirmed reservation.

If a listing has the same price for each day, like yours seem to have, then there's a way you can calculate how much a guest pays.

Say you want to know how much a guest has paid for a 4 day stay. Go to your calendar and find a four day period of free days at the same price as the guest's days. Click on the first free date and drag its right hand side little "III" tag to the right until you've selected 4 days. You can also select the 4 days by filling in the start and end date boxes.

Then scroll down in the window on the right until you see the "What do guests pay" link and click on it.

That'll how a box like below.

It's a hack and works only if you can find a range of free dates that have the same price as the guest's dates.

Thanks Steve. Yes, I had used this method. However I find it strange that AirBnb isn't transparent about the retail price they are charging, when other accommodation websites are. I need this info to gauge the competitiveness of my product.

In other ways I find them  an excellent service provider, but this lack of basic information would seem to go against the way they market themselves.

This doesn't work for me anymore, how come?

I have the same issue? WE were gone for the whole summer and we had a manager who did a great job,  so I never bother with going on my dashboard. Today, since we got an e-mail from airbnb that they were now collecting the the local tax for us, I decided to check out that great tool that we had, price calculator, how much does the guest pay? to my suprise, it is not available any more! It sucks!

Airbnb has changed its policy since 2018.

What is the new policy?

Our place is self contain and in perfect spot close to wolcano and South Point, but we did not get even one recuest. I think that our addvertisement is not good. Please sugest

I totally agree.  I really like Airbnb but the fact that they are secretive about what the client pays is irritating....

I too Agree ..as in some cases guest fees is much higher then what my payout is clsoe to 20% additional payout why ??

Honestly that’s fair. They provide a customer base that is doing well for all of us and a platform that simplifies everything making this something you can manage w/out paying property management companies. I used to drive for Uber/Lyft I would get 20-80% of my fair taken from me by Uber/Lyft with no rhyme reason. But I kept driving because I was making some money and I needed it. It actually cost a stupid amount of money to pay the engineers designers and analysts needed to pull off a global rental app.

With that said they should be transparent with customer pricing so decisions can be made with more knowledge of all parties involved.

Airbnb is taking over our listings more and more. I just want to pay them a fee for listing on their great website and do the rest myself. The more we accept their take overs of every aspect of our vacation rentals, the more control they have over us and what we do with our listings. I don't like it.

If you go into the settings there is an option for you to be charged all of the fees including the guest fees.  This may seem bad at first glance but you can simply adjust the price to reflect the increased costs to you.  You can likely increase your price by a few dollars as well.  The new fee would be 14% total.  You already pay 4% for running the transaction so now you need to increase your price by atleast 10%.  You will see all the fees.  Also, since your guest is used to paying the anywhere between 10 -15% airbnb service fee you can now make a bit more money.  I haven't tried it out myself but I noticed the option the other day and will do so soon.

Hello! Where are these settings?
