adjusting reimbursement request

I recently experienced significant damage to my property and submitted a reimbursement request to the guest. We have agreed on an amount for him to repay (a portion of the total). Is it possible to adjust the amount of the request or do I need to submit a new request?

@Jen5695  No, you don't need to do anything.  When he opens the request he can choose to pay the whole amount or to enter a different amount.  He can then proceed to pay what you agreed.  If Airbnb follows up with you about the difference, you can tell them to close the case (after you get the money, of course :)).
