exporting or syncing my airbnb calendar to my Apple/Mac calendar

Hi All, I can see how to export my Airbnb calendar into an ical supported app so please do not refer me to that, but i cannot see how to sync or export my Airbnb calendar with all my bookings directly into my Calendar on my iMac or ipad/iphone. Any help appreciated. Nicole

I used this function last week to sync onto my google calender (I apologise if what Im what Im telling you is something you already know) however I think it would be very similar.  The part I had trouble with was after I clicked the export button, a link came up that I was to copy & paste into my calender.  When I opened my calender, it had an option to import  the calender however, it wanted me to select a file from my computer, there simply wasnt an option to paste the link.  I rang Air bnb, they couldnt help & suggested I call google.  So I had the link pasted, opened my calender & pasted the link into the web browser (or the address line, not sure what its called but where you would type in a web address)  I did this and everything automatically started.  Hope this helps

Yes, once you have the link from Airbnb simply type/paste that into your address bar, click go, (or the arrow, etc.) and it will automatically download your ics file. Then go grab that for Google Calendar or whichever calendar app you're using and you should be sorted!

This helped me too - thank you! I think the airbnb instruction that says you should past their calendar URL into iCal is the confusing part. It should be 'paste it into your web browser while your iCal application is open'. Anyway, it worked finally - hoorah! Thanks

Hi.  You pasted the Airbnb calendar URL into the browser next to the Google URL??  I tried that and it didn't work.  I am getting something wrong.  I am using the Google calendar on a MAC computer.  I get the first steps, it is the last step I am confused??  Sorry and thank you!

This helped me a lot as I was stuck on synching my calendar. 

Does anyone know if once your calendars are synched how the non airbnb calendar is updated? And how long it takes the updates to appear.

On the Apple Mac ... its different than Google calendar do this:

On the AirBnb web site open the calendar. Click on Import Calendar.

Copy the link in the popup box (highlight the link and Command C)

Open the calendar app on the Mac

Click on File --> New Calendar Subscription 

Paste in the link you got from AirBnb (Command V)

Give it a name on the next screen like "AirBnb"

It works great!
