iOS App Login: not receiving 4 digit verification code

Hello community,

I am having issues login in to my account via the current iOS-App. My phone is running the latest OS and the app is up2date.

When I am inserting account-email and password the app says that i should have received an email containing a 4 digit verification code. I didn't receive this Code in the last 2 days, tried serveral times. I am receiving a notification of a successful login from a new device though.

What am I doing wrong?

Issue persisted, logged in to my account using Safari (none-private browsing) and was able to receive a verification via SMS. After that I was able to receive a 4-digit verification code via Mail for the Airbnb App - very very strange...
