@Matt, inform them that this is absolutely not authorised, and that you have no desire to go against AirBnB regulations. All transactions and guest-host communication must go via the AirBnB platform. This is for your own and the guests' security. Neither you nor the guests would be covered if anything should go wrong, and there's even a possibility you would be de-listed. 

Sounds like they're trying to avoid paying the AirBnB service fee. Not cool.
