No payments have come through for a booking this weekend as airbnb say my payment details are pending. they do not explain what this means or how to deal with it. does anyone have any advice?
@Sarah1772 As I see you have been hosting for quite awhile, this is odd, but I've read other posts here on the forum about hosts suddenly, after years, having some glitch with their payout method. Did CS tell you they are looking into it? Sometimes you just have to be patient. But if you haven't gotten a helpful rep, contact again, a new ticket, in the hopes that you get an agent who is actually responsive.
thanks so much for this. Yes it is very odd. Ive spoken to Airbnb but they weren't very helpful so I've confirmed the payment method again. it suddenly came up as pending. The only thing is it delays payment quite considerably for over ten working days, so it is in the airbnb account for much longer than it should be. They should deal with this immediately. Is there any way I can put it onto a forum so other hosts can be made aware of this?
