@Rane1 - If you were on her property performing a function as a co-host, you should be covered by by the host's homeowners insurance. You were acting on her behalf to perform her duties. She is responsible for you as she is paying you for working for her. She would not be eligible for Host Protection Insurance if she had sat in the chair and hurt her back and neither are you. Host Protection Insurance is to protect Hosts from third-party claims from guests of bodily injury or property damage related to an Airbnb stay. You were not staying as a guest.

However, I am not an insurance expert nor an attorney so you should contact Airbnb. But I'm going to guess you are going to have to ask the host to pay for your expenses or cover them under your own health insurance. which by law in the United States you are legally obiligated to carry.
