New York and Airbnb

I am interested in renting an apartment in NYC, but I read about problems with airbnb in New York. Can somebody tell me if we can have problems with that? I'm worried because I'm traveling with an elderly woman. Thanks in advance! Juliana

Hi, I wish I could Know if it is possible to rent a flat in New York closed to the City. Somebody told me that there are many problems with Airbnb Host in this area. Is it true?
