We are superhosts, with a near perfect 5 star record, and have been going through the process of setting up our place for Air BNB plus. We are located in St Kilda, Melbourne (Australia).
The onboarding process for AirBNB plus has been a terrible experience. We responded immediately to 22 required fixes, and all but four where immediately approved. The remaining four fixes were not reviewed or resonded to for over two months. It took daily emails to the support team to get this resolved. We have just received further feedback on these fixes, and in our opinon the issues raised are incredibly subjective and unnecessary. (ie. we've been told to replace an expensive Sheridan duvet cover with a plain white cover and change artwork). Our last guests where an Architect and Interior Designer and they complimented us on the decore and design.
Given the frustrating process and inability for the AirBNB plus to repsond to things in a timely manner, we are wondering if PLUS status it's actually worth the hassel? Does it really create more bookings and allow a higher price point? We have a very low vacacy rate as it is.
Any insights would be appreicated.
