AirBnb Costumer Service

Why is it soooooooooooooooo difficult to contact AirBnb?

I DONT want to read topics about anything they come up with (totally unhelpful)

I DONT want to engage in conversations with other members

I DONT want to be redirected in circles all the time

I WANT to SPEAK/WRITE TO someone FROM AIRBNB!!!

Im sure with all the millions you guys pocket from property owners around the world, you can afford a DECENT costumer contact center?

Agreed - I have a question I can find NO answer to on the site and it's costing me a weeks reservations.  I finally found a phone number but it said theywere having problems with their call center and to try to community center.

Maybe I'm having problems contacting Airbnb and will cancel my subscription?

Court, I agree it does take persistance, but they are slowly improving.

Wow.  6 months since you posted and no response.  I guess that says it all.  I love Airbnb and what it has done for me but they have one of the worst client/company protocols I have ever encountered.  Tell me if you have any success.  I have had a pretty awful experience trying to get reasonable reaction from them.  A panic button for hosts would be a great idea - God knows what kind of flood of issues it would open for them: probably why they aren't creating it.

My opinion is that there will some day be something catastrophic that occurs with a host or guest and the consequences of their inability to get support will either result in a terrible media attack or perhaps legal action - either way; negative publicity.  The worst part (for me)  is dealing with the idea that we are helping each other but we are not really in anything resembling a peer-to-peer relationship.

If you spend even a few hours in the community center, you will see that most questions can be answered.  Many of the questions are repeated, repeated, repeated, repeated.... The number one question is how do I get in contact with Airbnb?

Well I have to say that if you don't want to engage in conversations with other members then perhaps this community posting is the wrong place as we are all members?

I am the host and the airbnb site will not accept the cancellation of a guest.  I emailed the guest to let him know that I have had to cancel -- but that leaves a big problem!  I can not find a way to communicate with airbnb...  UGGGHHHH!!!

Please help!!

Hi
I have found the best way to contact Airbnb is on Twitter. They generally respond within ten to twenty mins and all my issues have been fixed. So simple.

I always try via their Facebook site. Twitter is supposedly even better, but I don't have an account there.

Facebook is public, so they try to respond asap.

Why can a host not contact a "supervisor" directly when you are not satisfied with lack of action...  it should not be difficult to make some real "live" direct contact...

The "help" section offers other questions...  why can a host not direct email a real question or problem?

This post seems worthless...  like I'm just throwing it out to other unhappy hosts...

You can contact Airbnb directly by telephone or in writing via Twitter, Facebook or the HELP icon on your default page although I'm not sure if it will be a supervisor - view this link for options to make contact
