Auckland Occupancy rate during winter

I've been hosting for 2 months now and so far so good. I am still wondering if I should keep going cuz winter is coming.  If the occupancy rate is low in winter, I think maybe it's better to rent it out for long term.... Could any long time host help please?

It definately does slow down in winter, but Ill leave the auckland hosts to comment on this one. I use a service called http://www.airdna.co/ for analytics and reports to tell me the occupancy rates
