Hello @Nathan15,

Welcome to the Community Center.

It is great to see you are finding your way around and are posting here in the CC.

As you may have seen in my comments above, I am afraid personal advertising goes against the CC guidelines and so the content of your post has been removed.

I am sorry about this, but I hope you will still enjoy posting here in the CC.

Thanks,

Lizzie

Dear Lizzie

I agree with your behaviour about deleting all the advertising messages here.

I have to say that I would suggest that Airbnb should list the certified channel managers the host can use.

If you don't have such list I would suggest to escalate this issue.

thanks

Dear Jean-Michel

thanks for your reply.

The intent of this thread is to get a full list , from Airbnb of all official channels able to work directly with their apis.

The advertising of one single channel, especially those which are based on scraping , it's not the topic to the discussion.

thanks

@Salvatore23 and being hostile towards people who are only offering their personal experiences is not really the point of the thread either. People are merely involving themselves in the discussion by mentioning the channel manager that they use for their own property, this does not mean that they are trying to advertise (I realise some posts have been removed, but others are have not, as they are not advertising, they're only joining in on the topic by giving a bit of information on what they themselves do!) There is no need to be so dismissive.

I think everyone is aware that you are looking for a CERTIFIED LIST, but I'm guessing from the lack of responses from experienced hosts, and from Admin themselves, that this does not exist.

Dear Lindsey

I understand your point and get it. It's not easy to understand when it's a vendor advertising its product or someone positively sharing its experience.

The list of official Airbnb channel manager has been released to the tourist press and reported at the Wtm Fair in London.

For some reason then It has not been divulgated to all the hosts on Airbnb.

So the question is if the channel managers who state to be "Certified" they are for real or not.

Anyhow I understand your feeling and I'll take care in next replies .

I hope for an official statement from Airbnb about that.

Hello,

I am a Airbnb guest and also a channel manager platform from India. Is there any API which is now to share and also any concerned connectivity team member we can get in touch with.

Regards,

Anil

Your answer is not very clear, however, I'm an expert in the field and I could not get an official answer from Airbnb.

**An official clarification from them would be very useful**

In the meantime, to do a Mvp you may just start using their iCal. good luck

Hello AirBnB community,

I actually DO work for a channel manager and DO NOT want to advertise. We are desperatly trying to get somehow in contact to connect with AirBnB as our clients are small hotels and B&Bs only. But it is really difficult, no documentation or a contact that I can find. Can someone please help me to find the right contact so we can become a CERTIFIED channel manager for AirBnB?

I am busy now for months trying to get in contact and I agree that it would be a good business for AirBnB if the procedure to become certified would be more clear. I mean it must be in the interest of AirBnB that the calendars are up to date and that guests can book directly instead of having to make an inquiery and wait for a reply of the hotel.

I really hope that someone in this community can help us.

Thank you already in advance.

Hi Nadja,

I'm Osvaldo and I'm published and awarded meta channel specialist.

I did a lot of researchers about this. I don't work for Airbnb but I'm a travel tech consultant and researcher and I can definitely help you about this. Actually I've promoted this discussion on the forum asking to one of my customer to start it .

Also I need some help from a channel manager for a startup project I have , so this could be a reciprocal help. You find me on twitter or linkedin under the nickname osviweb. Osvaldo **

Thanks

I just found out yesterday that Little Hotelier and Siteminder are working with Airbnb right now to be able to offer this service.  They didn't have a date in mind for when it would be up and running.  If you are already signed up with a channel manager, you can call them and see if they have something in the works.

Airbnb seems to have partnered with some channel managers in America and Europe but I have not heard of any Australian ones that are already compatible.  While you have your channel manager sales rep on the phone be sure to ask for their advice about which OTA's they would recommend for your property.  I have found Little Hotelier to be excellent - they have provided a lot of information above and beyond what would be expected.  (NB I do not work for them!)

Hope that helps, Lisa

This year at the Wtm tourism fair in London we heard some news about this topic.

Some channel managers have been using Airbnb using scraping technology. This technical word means that there is a machine doing on the site what you usually do by hand.

A couple of channel managers started to work using Airbnb API. API means that they are doing this properly using an interface engineered to do those updates dynamically.

Unfortunately Airbnb it's not promoting this very much and ,as other otas, prefers that their community uses directly the website.

The engagement they get with the house owners coming on the host section of airbnb.com, it's much higher than a machine doing automatic updates continuously.

In my professional opinion then:

For channel managers looking for info here or promoting their products , this is an overview of the situation. To get connected to Airbnb nowadays you may want to use their APIs.

For hosts wanting to use a channel manager (or PMS), it's better to get one connected via APIs (the scraping technology it's nothing guarantee or official) and remember that in terms of engagement it's always better to use the site.

So, what are the best software names recommended as a channel manager with Airbnb?
