Hi there,
I just had to decline someone however the button isn't working and I don't want it to reflect poorly on me. I've tried to attach a screengrab to this note but that's not working either. The decline button is basically greyed out and won't let me click it.
Who can help me with this?

I was only able to decline an inquiry using my iPhone. Weird.

Try logging off, clearing your cache, rebooting, logging on, then try again.
Sorry not an answer.... but I also cannot click on the decline button. It is greyed out as you say and won't let me click it. The only way to tell the guest that you cannot take the booking is to message them..... but that doesn't reflect well on your response rate as you haven't actually declined.
How do we get help on this issue?

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. You may have seen that there have been a few other reports of this happening by other hosts here in the CC and I have been trying to gather as much information about this as possible so that I can pass it over to the tech team to investigate. I wonder have you tried the suggestions @Ed-and-Hugh0 provided here? Any luck? If not, could you let me know what browser you are on, what device you are using / are you using the app? Also, is this happening for all your booking enquiries at the moment and when did it start happening? (Plus, if you are able to provide any screenshots here of what is happening that would be really helpful).
Sorry for all the questions, but I hope we can get this sorted. 🙂

Problem has been there for some months.
Originally I was using Google Chrome and a community adviser suggested Firefox. Firefox did the trick until a couple of days ago.
I switched back to Google Chrome and the "Decline" button now works. All very confusing!
I am using a Compaq laptop, 4 to 5 years old. No App.
I hope this helps and that your team can get to the bottom of it.

I use a mixture of browsers, sometimes google chrome, sometimes Internet Explorer and sometimes I access my account from my ipad on safari. I seem to have had the same problem on each format. I do not use the App. I first noticed the problem after Christmas. I have not had many enquiries during this period, and unfortunately have had to decline them all for various reasons. I sent a message to the enquirer saying I was unable to accept their booking, but then when I clicked on the decline button (see screen shot below) nothing happens at all. On a later booking entitled ‘reservation request’ I did seem to be able to decline…. But the other two which were ‘reservation enquiries’ I think, I was not able to click decline only send a message. I hope this helps.

I have the same issue. I am using Firefox, version 46.0 on an HP laptop. As has been mentioned, I do not want this to affect my response stats...just checked my iPad app and there are no requests outstanding...strange...
I've got exactly the same thing happening - really annoying - I feel I have let people down because I thought it had gone through and now it turns out it hasn't.
I don't even understand what Ed and co are talking about, what cache?
I too am having on going problems with the Decline Button not working. This has been so for at least 3 months. The problem persists on Google Chrome but also on Firefox. I have a Compaq Windows 7 set up. This must be a software issue for Airbnb to resolve.
