Guest has made a payment but the booking is not confirm

Hi, 

      A couple of hours a go a guest made a paymnet. The payment is taken for her account. But the booking is not confirm and The guest is confused as what should me done. How can airbnb intervene and help the guest to plan the trip. As I am not able to help her in any ways.
