Guest wants to shorten stay

I have moderate cencellation policy and got a 5 day reservation from today to this Saturday. The guest shows up today and told me that he wanted to stay for only 1 night and cancel the rest of them. I know that I have two options which are to accept the change which will hurt my business or reject the change and have the cancellation policy apply which might hurt my review.

 

Any thoughts or advice are greatly appriciate,

I'm in the same situation today.  Guest wants to cancel part of the stay and i can't rebook that.

You cannot stop them cancelling, so just let them go ahead and cancel from their end.  If they leave a bad review, just give a factual response that the guest chose to cancel and they were refunded according to your cancellation policy.
