How can I become a property manager for someones property on Airbnb?

I was interested in becoming a property manager for an airbnb. I recently met someone who manager a 5 bedroom house in Santa Monica, CA. They're friend was the home owner, but he spent much of his time in Chicago, making it difficult to manage a house that has many people staying at, especially during tourist season. How would I be able to get involved in this. Im currently a college student who spends most of time at home, and being that I live in Los Angeles, this seems like a good fit for me. Thanks!
