How do I block dates on my Calendar.... dates when I do NOT want guests? I am a new Host.

So, I'm going away for the weekend and don't have a co-host.  I want to block the days.  Please tell me how!  I am a new host and I figured this would be a no-brainer for you experienced guys and gals!  Thanks!

Go to manage my listing, then go to calendar.  Then you can click on each individual day (or select a block of them).  You will then see a tab to block the dates.

Hi Hilary,    I have been with airbnb for 6 years and have successfully blocked my bookings from other sites up until 3 days ago.  So now the window on the right hand side of the calendar doesn't appear!!!!        What the hell!      I have instant booking on and very worried when I get a booking from another source, I may be double booked.    I have gone through every single part of this site to no avail.    Hope someone can help.    Cheers Pat (Perth West Australia)

Please can anyone assist... how to change the available dates.. as my listing only shows 1 day available. I change the dates on the heading & select Available .. and it stays the same.. August 22nd only. What do I do to change this ??

I already have one guest booked for the dates.. but have much room to book more.. but my calendar is now

showing that I only have the unbooked date available that the guest did not book. HOw do I change the dates.. 

so I can book other guests?? I have lost a lot of bookings becuz of this issue. :-((

I have tried that but when i select a block of dates there are no tabs to click to block them? Driving me mad!!!

I have a problem ..I know how to block dates and did so as I was going to be away ...then I received a request for a booking and had to decline ,..This is annoying and I dont want it to keep happenong but .Ive just checked calendar and  again dates have been unblocked which should not be available ...how is this happening ? It had happened to me too though, I blocked my dates the booking still came in and confirmed...then I had no alternative but cancelled my guest's booking ( as my European ticket already issued and I had to return to Switzerland to mourn my father in law 's whom had passed away a day that instant booking came in ) To rub  salt into my wound. Airbnb text me that, "cancel guest booking is disrupting their plan. I could be kicked out of Airbnb".

Then I asked Airbnb supporter to assist me to import the "old calendar type into the apps". The lady said she followed my situation and I will get help" but  no one got back ...and I in desperation change the iPhone to use iPad , I found the new type of calendar. if we block the dates by ourselves,it gives grey color and quite blurry but at least it serves the purpose. AIRBNB need to make it easier to BLOCK dates - I can't even find the calendar today , and need to BLOCK , due to surgery ... what to do  - they also LOWERD  my rate, w/o my knowledge .... how ⁉️. I had to call them ‼️😳
