I've been hosting AirBnB for several years and am a SuperHost. I really appreciate the flexibility AirBnB gives me while providing great security!
But there's one setting I can't find; I don't think it exists, and it should! When there is a 3-day Holiday weekend, I'd like to be able to set my minimum stay to 3 nights. I have it at 2 nights, which works great for me most of the time. But I've been caught off-guard several times with guests only booking 2 nights at some "Smart Price" I forgot to change, leaving me with small earnings on a big holiday weekend.
In fact, I'd like it if Smart Pricing would take holidays into account and automatically increase both the price and minimum stay, to my specification.
AirBnB, please consider this!
Of course you can do this..... Investigate your availability settings. At the bottom of the popup list, you can find "Custom Dates." Fill these out and your wishes will be fulfilled! [Except for smart pricing which just isn't all that smart.]
Still can't find it.
Go to Calendar:
Look to the right and now select Availability Settings
Now select Trip Length "EDIT."
Scroll down to Add another requirement.
Put in your date ranges and your minimum number of nights here.
Good luck!
Any luck with finding this @Blue0?

Thank you for the last 7 years, find out more in my Personal Update.
Looking to contact our Support Team, for details...take a look at the Community Help Guides.
Yes, I've checked all those possibilities. But it's still too broad. I don't want to change my length of stay for an entire month, nor do I want to limit the check-in days.
But thanks for the details!
@Blue0 If you look at the screen shot below you can see I pick and chose my dates. You do that by clicking on the Add an other Requirement option and chose Specific Dates. You set it for a few days or for a block of days. You do not have to pick a check in day either that is optional. You can see I did a 3 day minimum for Labor Day and Memorial Day of next year. Christmas and New Years, Thanksgiving and Easter I do 4 night minimums.
Ah, finally! Got it! Took me a couple tries because the Save button was off to the side. Then there's another Save after that. But now I've got it set up!
Thank you so much!!
I am having similar problem, I want a minimum stay of 1 night but a minimum stay of 2 nights for weekends, I have had that for 3 years but now I am finding that people are able to book for just 1 night on aSaturday. I didn't change it but somehow it did change.
I'd be happy if smart pricing could do the simple stuff - say 4th July, NYE etc....
@Blue0@Pete28 Unfortunately Airbnb hasn't tried to read calendars for everywhere in the world and work out when holidays are for each postcode. Not all the world is interested in 4 July. Then there are local events - would you expect Airbnb to be aware of these as well and that you would like your prices higher? General recommendation from hosts is NOT to use smart (dumb) pricing and to take ownership of your business.
Other countries? It's not all about 'Merca? 😛
I don't disagree - but it's in fact the most vital part of their business - maximize price. Many 3rd parties are able to do it for hotels, airlines etc. They could even crowd source local dates as they do for guides etc..
Yes, that's a good point! Sorry I didn't think of that.
This is why we now have AI for things like this
