Listing Doesn't appear for 2-night bookings, even with no min stay. It DOES appear for longer ones-?

My apartment listing, it shows up fine with no dates set, or for random dates for bookings of 3 nights or longer. But it doesn't show up in searches for 2-night bookings.

I don't have any minimum stay requirements set. (it used to be 2-days, but even then it wouldn't show up in 2-day bookings, so I've removed it completely.

Even when i zoom in to my neighborhood, it will say "no results available" instead of showing my place, so it's not like its burried under pages of other listings. Search results return NOTHING rather than show my apartment.

Two-night bookings over a weekend for sporting events, etc would be ideal, but I only get longer bookings, which is what led me to discover it doesn't show up in results for anything less than 3+ days.

I've tried it from various browsers, on my laptop, on the iOS app, have had my friend search from their account on their laptop and phone.... I've even tried setting instabook to see if that helps, but it doesn't.  can't think of any other settings that would let it appear for a 3-night booking but be blocked from displaying for 2-night bookings.

Help?

@Julie-and-Dan1 I know other hosts who are experiencing the same problem.  They say they have contacted Airbnb and that Airbnb says they are aware of the problem and are working to fix it.  I would go ahead and set your minimum night stay to what you want so that when the fix is made you won't get a surprise.  Can't tell you when it will be fixed but I can't imagine it taking more that a day or so.  🙂

I am a host in Sacramento, California, and I'm having the same problem.  I have my place listed for a 1-night minimum but my place can only be found if you request a 3-night minimum.  If anybody requests less than 3 nights, it doesn't show up.  I have checked my reservation preferences and it shows 1-night minimum, but somehow the request is being overriden.  I have contaced Airbnb several times to no avail.  It feels like Airbnb is extremely short staffed.  I do get a "template" response but no solutions.  Suggestions?

@Julie-and-Dan1 I am experiencing this issue myself. It is not confirmed but I think it could an optimisation test that Airbnb is doing on some hosts to let hosts get longer-term bookings when there's a block of available days squeezed between 2 bookings. For example when I have a 4 night in a row available, I cannot search my listing for 3 nights and below, only 4. But if only 3 nights are available, I can search for 3. As for 2 nights in a row that's available, I can find myself for those 2 nights. So it seems that the search tries to let only those who need longer-term stay book you, but perhaps closer to the date itself this rule is relaxed. In other words, hosts are better off sitting tight and getting longer-term bookings to fill those occupancy rates than to jump the gun and take many 1 or 2 night bookings way ahead of time. This is just my thoughts on it after I've played around with the search and experimented with different dates and number of nights.
