Making a difference

Sometimes as a host, you have the ability to truly make a difference for people just because you open your home to them.

Here is a text that I received from a guest mid-way through her stay this past Thanksgiving holiday.

@Trudy4, I had a somewhat similar (but much sadder) experience, of two guests who came for the funeral of an old friend who had been brutally killed in our town.  They of course had to make the decision at short notice, were coming from very far away, and were glad to have a friendly place to land instead of a cold hotel.
