New ordinance in Los Angeles as of 7/1/2019

I just want to hear from other hosts who have read or was present at the meeting last week for a new passed ordinance. I would love to hear from you and what is going to happen to hosts like me? Thank you in advance.

I am very concerned about this but no one seems to be talking about it. Is there something I don't know? because the new ordinance will put about 80% of hosts in LA out of business.  This takes efect in 3 months and hosts don't seem worried about it. I called AirBnB support and the guy said he hadn't hear about the ordinance

Exactly, I think city haven't created the supposed online registration portal. I've been checking LA planning website daily but nothing comes up. No one seems to have a real idea about how we're supposed to get that permit. 

Some other threads say there's a second part of meetings to get a final ordinance or totally ban shirt term rentals but how are we supposed to comply with first one if there's no additional info about how to get that permit.
