Putting finishing touches in reno

We have been actively listing/renting for 1 year after major renovation work was done.

Guests love what we have done but some comments on needing finish touches.  We have constantly tackled on major renovation since the start of renting: finishing basement to offer game room for rainy days, attached a covered patio for enjoyment etc .What's your thoughts on those annoying and tedious finishing touches painting around the scabs of doorways, laundry room not painted? What are hosts doing in terms of upgrades/Reno that wouldn't impede on your rental. For example, I schedule my construction during my slow seasons .

Perhaps I need to reprioritize..

Go at your own pace and charge accordingly.

However keep in mind there is a price ceiling so if your improvemets are for a return on your investment proceed with educated caution. If the improvements are for your own enjoyment again just go at your own pace. As for upkeep... well that sh1t just never ends.

In my opinion, you should definitely finish it up as soon as you can. An unfinished house especially one thats been unfinished for a long time can have a negative effect on how it is perceived by the guest as well as well as what type of host you will be.

I am curious about your subject line. Why does it say in Reno?

Reno, as in renovation.

Oh I get it, I was thinking the city. Thanks for the info Danial

If the finishing touches are adding accent pieces such as pillows and table lamps, do them at your own pace.  If those finishing touches include permanent touches such as painting, trim, or outlet plates, I'd get those done ASAP.
