Statement of earnings to obatin a bank loan

Hi,

Can anyone help please?

I need an actual official Statement of Earnings that I can take to the Bank for a home loan, to prove I have been receiving additional money through AirBNB income.  When I click on Transaction History as per the "Statement of Earnings" advice the Help centre says to go too, all it does when you try to print out is give an excel sheet print out with no AirBNB name, logo, ABN or Business Registration  number etc.  I need 2014 & 2015  financial year (July - June) earnings as proof of additional income then 2016 financial year so far to establish a pattern for them to asses me.

I cannot deliver to them an excel sheet with just Reservations and money paid out without it having at least the AirBNB name and address on it.

Please help.  How do I get this or what can I do to get what I need for the Bank?

I suppose the payouts would show on your bank statements ?

What about the tax declaration form - the income would have had to be declared for the previous years I take it ?

@Robyn10 go to your Transaction History then click on 2015 Earnings Summary.  On that page you will find Airbnb's address Tax ID number and all your earnings.  No spread sheet, excel or otherwise.  Don't know if you can pull up 2014 earnings so perhaps you can contact Airbnb for assistance.

I have the same problem and I need it to prove my income for a loan too. I can view it online but cannot print it out as a spreadsheet (no Airbnb details) or from the webpage (it goes all weird and text is overlapping). Anyone?

@Julie123 Try using Google Chrome.  You should be able to print it out with that system.

@Robyn10 When I go to my bank account online and look at the transactions, they are all labled AIRBNB PAYMENTS. If I filter for this, I get just a list of all Airbnb payments within the time selected. If you can do this with your bank, it should provide the evidence the loan company needs.

Also, if you do a screen shot showing the URL, they may accept that.

Most banks, in most countries will not accept AirBnB income as proof of a regular business income - so good luck if you have found one who will. They are interested in whether or not you are renting out a room in your property as it affects the morgtage condition - they are not really concered about how much you earn/charge.

Does anyone have any answers to this question?   I am in exactly the same situation and need to show an official statement of earnings with the Airbnb logo and also the address of the property.    The lender doesn't accept just a bank statement etc.

Please any advice would be appreciated on how to do this.

Hello from 2022, with the same issue! Why on earth can they provide us with a monthly earnings statement, with their logo on it, in a presentable format for the bank? 
I am creating my own.....
