cleaning for long term guests

Hi,

I'm hosting a guest for several weeks. He will stay during the week and leave for the weekends. Usually when I have long term guests I give them access to the laundry facilities in my part of the house and they do their own laundry, remake beds etc. I charge a small cleaning fee for the clean up I do at the end of the stay. With this guest I'm thinking of offering to wash any sheets and towels over the weekend. I'm wondering if I should be expected to strip/remake beds or can I just say leave the laundry in a provided hamper and I'll wash/ dry and return folded? What do you think?

Hi @Leah3 ,

I think you should ask the guest what he prefers. Maybe he even does not want to change bedlinnen   every weekend. But most guest are happy with providing them the fresh stuff back in a hamper.
