not appearing in search results

Hi,

I have a 6 bed villa listing which accomodates 16+. The villa shows no problem in results when you state guest number is 8 or more.

However if you search 6 guests or less the listing does not show! Any ideas why this is? I know on TripAdvisor they will only show a listing related to a search which has 4 guests less but can't find the AirBnB policy.

I charge very low rates during off season (same price as a 3 bed) so I want to be able to show and compete but not sure on the best way.

It seems like the logical solution would be to simply create another listing for a max of 6 guests. That way, you'll show up on either search.

Hello, I have a similar problem, I will be very grateful if you can help me out . I have a listing for an appartment for 4 guests. However , it only appears with a filter up to 2 guests. When you search for 3 or 4 guests , the listing disappear from the results. This is the link :
