potential guests asking to view my home prior to booking?

Recently I've had a couple of potential guests ask to see my home prior to booking. Of course I want to book my home, but I'm weary of giving strangers my address prior to booking for obvious saftey reasons. Am I wrong for saying no and possibly losing out on income? Is anyone else going through this too? My home's pictures and description are accurate.

@Nicole14 You are right to be leary of strangers wanting to see your place before booking.  Here's what Airbnb has to say about it:

Is this for a long term reservation?  If so, here's another helpful link:

Be sure to vet their Airbnb user credentials to make sure they are verified and also past reviews.

Never ever....had a good range of photos and let them decide. It's way too risky to start giving out details like that to strangers.
