I have been trying, since 23 December 2024 to rectify a payment due to me of $6,500AUD. I have contacted Airbnb on numerous occasions but for some unknown reason, and despite telling me someone is looking into it, Airbnb is refusing to assist me. My bank has confirmed the funds were returned to Airbnb on Tuesday 24 December and for some unknown reason Airbnb is refusing to pay those funds to my new bank account. I'm now left with no option but to lodge a formal complaint against Airbnb. Does anyone know how to do this? I can't find anything which relates to issues experienced in Australia.
