Thanks, Quincy, and hello, everyone! I am Chris, and I live in Cape Town, South Africa. It has been great learning how to become a Superhost on the Airbnb platform, and now I am keen to learn how to maintain that and improve from others. My wife and I co-host a cottage on our property, and we struggled initially with occupancy. We were fully booked once we realised that, given our location, we should aim for guests looking for more extended stays. From the onset, we also knew that cleanliness would be key; anyone renting any accommodation always appreciates that which I guess you all already know! I am keen to hear from others about the main things they focussed on to achieve the occupancy rates required to achieve Superhost status. All the best, everyone, and I hope 2025 is an excellent year for you!

Achieving this great accomplishment, I do not take lightly. As it is a reflection that all of my labor has not been in vain. To all others who received their Badge as Superhost, congratulations.🫡

I know that we all want to give the best experience possible for each guest, and sometimes it is difficult to satisfy everyone. However, the good always outway the bad. That is what we all have proven to be true by obtaining this honor as Superhosts.

Wow, I did it again. 

I was a Superhost for our AirBnB's in Jacksonville Beach FL.  The market got crazy so we cashed in and bought a recreational vehicle (RV).  We were on a 5 month journey with the RV and found my forever home just outside of Taos NM (Experience Rancho de Taos).  Well the first year with Airbnb our home did not perform well and I had very few guests.  My daughter suggested I add a hot tub as this is what snow skiers/boarders want after a day on the slopes.  This has made all the difference in the number of reservations that I'm getting.
