Do you take guests who are local residents?

This is an interesting question that has come up on the host community groups from time to time, so I thought I would ask it here again to see what responses we get this time.  Do you take guests who are local residents? Meaning, they are people who live in your city, or in a nearby city.  If you get a local person inquiring, how do you respond?  Are there any specific questions you would have for them, that you would not generally ask other guests who were not local residents?  Would you have any specific concerns?  If you were "on the fence" about taking such a guest, what would allay your anxieties? If you would not consider taking a local guest, could you say why?  If it does not matter at all to you where your guest lives, let us know what reason you have for that approach.

New to airbnb this month. Had six bookings thus far, two from locals, and I'm now done accepting locals. Didn't have a disaster, but the locals were definitely messier, weirder, and basically used the place as a motel for a tryst. I suspect it was a tender meet up  or possibly even escort business. I'll stop accepting at this point, before it gets worse.

I think is is based on where you live, I will accept locals at this point. Being in a small town makes it not so bad for me to do. I see that it could be a disaster if your only doing one to two day bookings and getting the meet ups. You can change your days to rent to no less than 3 or so and maybe stop some of the one night people who will have to pay for three days for a quick meet up.
