How many towels do I need to leave for my guests if they stay for a week

@Constance65  As an experienced host you probably already recognize some patterns in your guests' demand for towels. The basic requirement is generally considered one clean towel per guest at the beginning of the stay. If guests have access to laundry facilities, this could be sufficient for any length of time. But there are many variations - if your home is extra humid, two per person would help compensate for extra drying time between uses. And if you have a swimming pool, jacuzzi, or beach access, extra towels for these purposes are helpful.

The sweet spot is going to be: enough towels to keep guests comfortable, but not so many that you have mountains of excessive laundry.

I would leave no more than seven towels per person. Anything above that amount is excessive. I personally use the same towel for a week, but some people don't-you don't want to give them anything to complain about. Some people look for any reason to complain.
