Price increases in a booming

I have booked a property and paid a posit received a booking reference then I received an email saying that the booking was a different price surly this is not standard procedure as now this property is out of my price range and how can I claim back my deposit thank you

@Angelo820  The hosts isn't allowed to increase prices once booked 

I'm a little confused by your comments when you go to book the total price will be shown did you check this before confirming the booking 

what email are you referring to . What is the difference in costs ? 

If the host is trying to increase the price post booking then tell them to cancel if they don't want to host you at the agreed price

@Angelo820 I really do not think this is possible. For some properties Airbnb will collect 50% up front and the remainder later but the amounts should be very similar.
